ICT4E Glossaries

In our course every week we have to put a word to Glossary, and we have to share it to other students, my lecturer give us a website to collect our Glossaries every week. So, the other students can read the Glossaries in that website to make us learn more and to add our vocabulary.

This is some example of Glossaries that I took from my course website.


1. Authority

Is Institutionalized and legal power inherent in a particular job, function, or position that is meant to enable its holder to successfully carry out his or her responsibilities.

2. Blind Carbon Copy

BCC stands for Blind Carbon Copy which is similar to that of CC (Carbon Copy) except that the Email address of the recipients specified in this field do not appear in the received message header and the recipients in the To or Cc fields will not know that a copy sent to these address.

3. Chace

2. something hidden or stored in a cacheThe cache consisted of documents and private letters.

3. a computer memory with very short access time used for storage of frequently or recently used instructions or data     — called also cache memory


4. Computer Network

is a digital telecommunication network which allows nodes to share resources. In computer networks, computing devices exchange data with each other using connections (data links) between nodes. These data links are established over cable media such as wires or optic cables, or wireless media such as WiFi.

5. Cyber Chrime


is criminal activity (such as fraud, theft, or distribution of child pornography) committed using a computer especially to illegally access, transmit, or manipulate data
